Quickutz Quickutz

We have the rest of the QK release on the shelf.  We sold out of the awesome Dragonfly, but we have a couple more being shipped to us. 

This is a very popular release and this is what we have left.

Chocolate, Aquarius, Rollerskate, Chicago, Blossom, Strawberry, Neat Freak and Nutmeg.

I have a  shipment due in the beginning of next week of the others that I am out of.

September calendar online!

Our September calendar is online on our web page and copies are in the store. :-)  Check out the blog album "Upcoming classes" for some photos.  Don't forget we go back to our regular hours in September too.

We have some really nice classes lined up for September along with the Hero Arts preview party (which is filling up fast, so give us a call), plus a "Scrap Pink" all day crop.  We have Alice Lucas, the original scrapper gal, plus Lynnette DeBolt teaching in September, so it is going to be a great month!

Rebecca from Fiskateers is coming to town!

All the lucky gals who signed up for our crop on the 23rd are about to become very happy*twinkle in the eye*.  Rebecca from Fiskateers (one of the main girls), is coming to play with us and demo some Fiskars goodies!  This should be lots of fun and we cannot wait for her to join us.

Wow, we got back in town yesterday and saw that we are on the front page of the St. Pete Times in Sunday's paper!  Pretty cool.  check it out, it is the story on John Edwards in the lower right.

Well we have part of the newest Quickutz release here.  The rest should be here in about a week or so.

Another Reason to "Get into Quickutz"

Quickutz is just so cool :-).  They have supplied us with another custom die made just for QK club members.  Again, this die is only available to QK club members and is not for sale to the public.  This is a rule by Quickutz, not us.  I have been getting a lot of requests on the other custom release and Quickutz has said that stores are not allowed to sell them.  Sorry about that.  I guess you just need to join the club.  This die will be here for you at the August QK meeting.  Oh yeah, it is FREE for members.  It is so awesome to be in the SIP QK club!

Ok, I just had to make a post on the new Graphic 45 papers.  They are even better then the first release.  You better hurry though, they are selling fast.

Ok, I will start by saying that my camera has been working overtime taking photos for the blog and it decided to stop working.  We are still getting in all kinds of new goodies over here in Paradise.  It is starting to look like a whole new store.  We have new stock on Bo Bunny My Word books, new storage solutions, Amy Butler Creativity bags, tons of new Anita's outline Stickers, new albums, and on and on and on...  Let's just say that you need to stop in and see what's new for yourself.

SIP Quickutz Passport winner

Remember the Quickutz Around the World Passport promo?  If not, this is how it worked.  You received a QK passport and had to complete activites to earn a stamp, once all quadrants were stamped you received a code that was used to enter into a chance to win a dream vacation through Quickutz.  Also, you were entered into a seperate drawing here at SIP.  Well, we had our drawing and now to announce the winner.

August Calendar

The August calendar is up.  You will notice that we have added some additional dates to some of our classes.  we are super excited about August as we have  Sharon Wilde, Liz Thogerson, and now Katie Scott from our design team teaching here in Paradise.  Take a look as we have started a Stamping and Stenciling learning series.  I think you are going to be happy with the selection of classes at Paradise.  Call to sign up today.

Working on the August Calendar

Ok, I know I said I was going to try to have the August Calendar done by now, but I am still wrapping it up.  So sorry....  I will have it all set by the beginning of next week.  We have a lot of great things lined up for you in August that I think you are going to be very happy about. 

I'll give you a little sneak peek of what's new for August... How do more Crop parties sound?  Good?  Ok, you got it.  We will start having more next month.

This new face seems so familiar...

We would like to welcome Liz Thogerson to "Team Paradise."  She will be teaching some of our classes here and I've got to tell ya, we're thrilled.  Liz is an absolute Stamping and Scrapping pro who brings some serious creativity with her.  In fact, she is so popular that they even want her over in Italy to teach later this year. I'm hoping she's planning to bring a HUGE suitcase so I can be a stow-away.... What?  I've heard that real Italian gelato is to die for!

Liz is gonna be teaching our More Than Just a Note and our ATC Club classes along with many other classes.  Her stuff is just fabulous.  We'd invite you to join her for this Saturday's class but this one's already filled up!  Never fear!  She has a bunch of great classes lined up for next month. Check out her samples on our photo album, but be careful not to drool too much- it's bad for your computer keyboard.

That adorable Tim Holtz just doesn't quit!   His Idea-ology line has been hard to get a hold of.  It's international demand is making it tough on Tim's manufacturers to keep up, but we've been getting it bit by bit!!!  More yummies have arrived.

What is so darn exciting you ask?  Well, we have some great news over here in Paradise that has us smiling so big that I now have a really big headache.  But that's OK, because what I am about to share with you will cause you to smile just as big.  Just don't blame me for the headache.

Sharon Wilde of Wilde Ideas is going to be teaching classes here at Scrapbooking in Paradise.  You read correctly.  Sharon is coming over to Paradise to share her expertise with us all.  Anyone that knows Sharon knows how talented she is, and just what a great gal she is too.  We are so excited to have her here.  Keep an eye out for the August calendar, which should be done by mid next week, as Sharon has got some great classes lined up.

Don't want to wait until August, you say?  To get started early she is bringing the "Stamper's night Out" over here to Paradise.  We are going to have it on July 30th from 6PM - 9:30PM.  We will have this class every month and it will be the last Wednesday of each month.  You will get 3 surprise darling cards with envelopes and pizza and drinks.  Chit chat with your friends and take a load off your feet and have dinner with us! Which cards we will make is always a secret until class night! I just announced this at tonight's stamp class and it is already filling up, so you better hurry. The cost is only $19.00.

Well we just received in the highly anticipated line of "My Little Shoebox".  you are gonna LOVE this stuff....  The papers are just gorgeous and the flowers are very versatile.  You can stamp, ink, paint or even emboss them.  They are the perfect match to your project.

OK, let me start by saying "No, you are not dreaming."  We went through the same exact thing with this company's beautiful new products. You may need to ask the person next to you to pinch you after viewing these photos.  And I can tell you, there are lots of bruises around here from all the pincing going on.  What you are about to see is going to send you into a level of excitement that you have not reached since Johnny Depp announced all he wants is to date a Scrapper Gal. (Ok, just kidding about that part.)
